Back to school in style

Back to school in style

It's back to school season and for some of us school is right around the corner if you haven't started already. Backpacks have been one of the top trends this year and now that school is starting what better excuse to buy one (as if I didn't want to buy one anyways lol). I've put together five super chic backpacks that are good for school but also for travel or a night out or to use as your everyday bag. Let me know which is your favorite in the comments below.

Vacation faves

Hello beauties, I'm back from a much needed vacation if you follow me on Instagram you can see all the pics @lifesimplystyled. I had such a great time with my family and it was good just to get away and relax. I wanted to share with you guys a few of my favorite items from my trip, starting with this amazing bathing suit from Victoria's Secret. I literally lived in this bathing suit all week. It's different for me because I am not use to buying sexy swim suits and this ladies,  is definitely a sexy one. The bottoms are Brazilian cheeky style and the top is a push up. I also loved this Jergens Shea Beauty Oil to give me a beautiful sheen and healthy glow while i was by the pool and also to go out. I couldn't stop using it, it's so moisturizing as well which is good because my skin was a little dry while I was in Florida. I definitely recommend this beauty oil if you are like me and you like to glisten every where you go lol. Stay tuned for more posts coming soon, Talk to you guys later xo

Current faves for Spring

Here are my current faves/wishlist for spring. Weirdly (don't think that's a word but you guys get what I'm saying) this year I've been into more muted colors and touches of pastels here and there, but I haven't been craving those bright spring colors, maybe it's the weather here in NYC. If you live here you know exactly what I mean. None the less my picks are still very appropriate for spring (at least for my cspring wardrobe they are) lol. Let me know what you guys think down below.

Cinderella x MAC

Leave it up to MAC to make you feel like a princess. From the packaging to the colors this collection is definitely fit for a princess. I'm 100% a Disney fan I love anything Disney and I love makeup after all I am a makeup artist so when I heard Mac was coming out with a Cinderella collection, I was beyond excited! Hands down this is my favorite collection that MAC has ever done. I love the packaging ( I'm a sucker for packaging), and I love that the colors are neutrals so they're good for everyone. The collection is very feminine and it's one of those collections you'll want to display on your vanities.

    January beauty buys

Since the new year began I've been cutting back on shopping which i have been unsuccessful at. So I took a trip to mac and surprisingly didn't go too crazy just picked up some new items I've wanted to try and a blush that i have been dying to get. Lipstick is velvet teddy and lip liner is subculture, i purchased this combo because i wanted to recreate the Kylie Jenner lip and these are pretty close, you can also try their lip liner in whirl. The blush is peechykeen and I've wanted this blush for a while because it's versatile and goes great on any skin tone, so its perfect for clients. I have a feeling I'll be back at mac soon (the whole non shopping thing isn't working CLEARLY) lol. I'll be filming a video for you guys soon on everything I've gotten this month both fashion, home, and makeup so stay tuned!
